Photography has been a constant in my life since I was a child. Later, I started to take photos of things just to see what they looked like as photographs. I practice photography both as a vocation and avocation because it is a very diverse skill and art form. The diverse ways of creating photographs keeps me engaged with the different types of cameras, lenses and film types I can create with.
Photography for me is about permanently recording a moment, person or object in time. Because nothing stays the same and memory can be fleeting and or fickle. The subjects I gravitate to are: landscapes in a panorama format, macro (close-up), the ever changing cityscape and the people in my life that are dear to me.
